2014 Hall of Fame class includes five from the MSFL

Minor League Football Hall of Fame logoThe AAA Minor League Football Hall of Fame will hold an induction ceremony on December 5, 2014, at the Stratosphere Hotel & Casino at 6 pm in Las Vegas. The ceremony will honor the 2014 Hall of Fame inductees. Among those inducted are five members of the Mid-States Football League (MSFL), including a trio of Roscoe Rush members.

MSFL Vice President Rob Feltner was nominated by Dick Suess, the Founder of the AAA Hall of Fame and former NFL player. As an inductee, Feltner was also able to add four nominees to the list of 2014 inductees. Amongst those names were Jose Rodriguez (owner, Leyden Lions), Dan Greene (current MSFL Commissioner), and two others from the Roscoe Rush: Brian Kelly (co-owner & retired player) and Jason Hufford (retired player).

Current members from the MSFL who are in the Minor League Football Hall of Fame include Chicago Thunder owner Terry Thomas (2008), Cheri Kardas (2009), Chicago Thunder offensive lineman Steve Sliwka (2013), Chicago Thunder offensive lineman Joe Lemke (2013) and Leyden Lions offensive coordinator Michael DeCook (2013).

The Mid-States Football League is extremely proud of these individuals who have shown countless hours of dedication to both their teams and the league. We are looking forward to adding additional players and personnel each year so the MSFL represents the Hall of Fame just as we do the national spotlight, with class and dignity.
