(This article originally appeared in the Thursday, May 21, 1964, edition of the Racine Journal-Times.)

FlashbackThe Racine Raiders can forget about playing a football game this fall in Soldier Field, Chicago.

The Chicago Panthers informed Central States Football League schedule-maker, Rudy Mano of Racine, that they have booked defending champion Elmhurst for the Friday, Sept. 11 game.

The Racine eleven was considered a prime choice to oppose the Panthers but Chicago stockbroker, Bob Nussbaum, who backs the club, told Mano that Elmhurst, which traditionally opposes night games, has agreed to play one under the arcs.
