Linebacker/Punter Aaron Hilliard

Racine Raiders linebacker and punter Aaron HilliardLike many of our area youth, Aaron Hilliard started his football career in fifth grade with the Racine Youth Sports (RYS) program. Aaron went to Case High School where he was such a versatile player that he hardly ever left the field.

He was a running back on offense, a linebacker on defense, and a punter on special teams. Aaron earned first team all-Southeast Conference and All-Racine County honors his senior season. After high school, Aaron went on to play football at Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls, Iowa. After college, Aaron returned to Racine where he played a year for the Racine Rage eight-man football team.

He then played two years with the Racine Threat before coming to the Raiders in 2015. His versatility from high school helped him play linebacker and punter for the Raiders. Aaron absolutely loves Raiders home games when the fans comes out to Historic Horlick Athletic Field and, as a community, show that support for one another and demonstrate there is more to life than football.

“I do it for the kids and it’s great when the look up to you and see you as a role model,” Aaron said about why he plays the game. “I love it when kids come up to me after the games to talk to me and ask me for my gloves.”

Away from football, Aaron works as a driver for United Natural Foods (UNF) in Sturtevant and is also a Herbalife coach where he helps people change into healthier lifestyles. Aaron has an energetic and charismatic personality and we see nothing but success in hiss future. Thank you Aaron for playing with the Raiders and being a great role model for our younger fans.
