Offensive Lineman Thomas Smith

Racine Raiders offensive lineman Thomas SmithThomas Smith is a first-year offensive linemen with the Racine Raiders. The Pewaukee native has been clearing running lanes for backs and keeping quarterbacks upright since he was six years old. He started playing with the Milwaukee NCSL at that time. From there, he went to play in Brookfield for the Junior Lancers and then in high school for the Brookfield Central Lancers.

Smith started playing with the Racine Raiders just a few weeks ago, but he has already added depth to the Raiders offensive line. He’s helped lead the way for a Raiders rushing attack that has rushed for 356 yards and five touchdowns. The passing game has also performed with quarterbacks throwing for 453 yards and four touchdowns. Raiders quarterbacks have been sacked just once through three league games.

Before a game, Smith says a prayer and reads the bible to help him get ready and stay focused. When he isn’t playing football, Smith likes to play 2K with friends and spend time with his family and dog, Simba. He works with A Better Living Family Services as a Resident Assistant and is part owner of ABL Towing and Recovery Services.

Thank you, Thomas, for being a member of the Racine Raiders family and being a positive example both on and off the field. Best of luck to you this season and beyond.
