Raiders announce 2014 schedule

Racine Raiders logoThe Racine Raiders and MidStates Football League (MSFL) released the Racine Raiders 2014 league schedule. In addition, the team has announced three non-league games and will announce a fourth non-league game shortly.

The Raiders MSFL schedule includes home games against the Madison Mustangs, Wauwatosa Spartans, Quad City Raiders and Leyden Lions. The Raiders will hit the road to play the Muskego Hitmen, Monona Warriors, Indiana Generals and Racine Threat.

The Raiders will open the MSFL regular season at home against last season’s MSFL champions, the Madison Mustangs on July 12. The team will then play three straight road games against the Muskego Hitmen, Monona Warriors and Indiana Generals. The Raiders return home on August 9 and host the Wauwatosa Spartans. A new team in the MSFL, the Quad City Raiders, come to Historic Horlick Athletic Field on August 16. The Racine Raiders play at the Threat on August 23 and complete their 2014 season at home against the Leyden Lions on September 6.

The Raiders have three non-league games scheduled and will announce a fourth game soon. The Raiders 2014 campaign opens on June 21 against the Leyden Lions at Historic Horlick Athletic Field. The Raiders will then host the Fox Valley Force on July 5 and the Dakota Lawdawgs on August 30. The team will also play a home game on June 28 but the opponent hasn’t been determined yet.

All games are scheduled to start at 7 p.m. CT except for the Indiana Generals game which will be a 6 p.m. CT kickoff.
