Raiders host 2014 All-Racine County high school football banquet

2014 All-Racine County Player of the Year, Burlington quarterback Brad Burling. Nearly 200 people attended the 2014 All-Racine County High School Football Banquet held on Monday, December 15, at Roma Lodge in Racine. For the 13th year, the banquet was held to recognize the outstanding talents of the best of Racine County’s high school football athletes and their coaches.

Besides recognizing the first and second team offensive and defensive players, the All-County Player of the Year award went to Burlington quarterback Brad Burling. Burlington is also the home of the All-County Coach of the Year, Steve Tenhagen.

Burlington head coach Steve Tenhagen, the 2014 All Racine County High School Coach of the Year.Though he never stepped on the field as a player, Mathew Sokol was recognized as a person that made a difference on the sideline, committed to helping with the Horlick football team, and an inspiration to both players and coaches, earning him the Unsung Hero Award for 2014.
